Before I say anything else, let me say that there is nothing wrong with the products and services they provide and I'm not angry or disappointed in the companies.
I've been sick for a couple of years and just don't have the energy to do what I once did, so I'm refocusing my efforts into a couple of areas and I'm dropping everything else.
This is one of the things I'm dropping.
All the best,
JD

Focusing on communications services in 2009
The events of the last few months have completely taken my attention away from talking about the telecommunications products available from RiverOffers, but I'll be catching up with them in the coming months.
If you already know much about me, you'll be aware that I am one of those people who doesn't really like cell phones. They remind me too much of carrying a beeper, and that usually meant thunderstorms in the middle of the night.
But, I'm sure you're not like me; most people aren't.
So, you can find lots of products and services related to cell phones at RiverOffers.
Not only that, you can join as an affiliate and make commissions selling them.
I'm much more interested in telecommunications products such as Internet access, broadband, domain names, and the like. That's the main reason I stuck with Cognigen as they made the transition to Commission River last year.
Now that I've made it through the worst of the last six months, I'll be posting about Commission River and what they offer.
Now and then, I'll post to this blog, but you're more likely to find information about Commission River on my primary blog: 21stCenturyAffiliateMarketing.com

Cognigen Networks completes the acquisition of Commission River, Inc.
I haven't been actively marketing Cognigen and it's products for some time.
When the founder of Cognigen Networks, Kevin Anderson, died last year, I wasn't sure what was going to happen to Cognigen, so I pulled in my advertising to see what would happen.
In December, things began to happen that began to eliminate my doubts, but they haven't coalesced enough to be really confident in restarting my marketing efforts.
Late in 2007, Cognigen Networks completed the acquisition of Commission River, Inc. and began to announce the changes in their affiliate/agent program.
Commission River will take over management of Cognigen and the compensation plan will undergo some big changes.
So, for now, I'm only going to start promoting Commission River products, even though I still have hundreds of links to Cognigen products and services.
Until further notice, I urge you not to join as a Cognigen agent. That may or may not change in the future.
In the meantime, if you want to promote top-quality telecommunications products and services, you are welcome tobecome an affiliate through Commission River. Unlike some of the other telecom marketing companies, there is no charge to become an agent with Commission River.
Hopefully, the uncertainty will continue to fade as new plans are announced.
